Resumo
Vast natural areas have suffered high environmental impacts with the advancement of urbanization and agricultural expansion, compromizing the soil nutrition and unfeasible natural recovery. The process of ecological restoration has improved in technologies and strategies for better effectiveness. Composting sewage sludge (LEC) for the planting of native seedlings grown in nurseries has been increasingly studied, however, has not yet been widely used in the recovery of ecosystems, mainly in the field. This experiment analyzed the efficiency of the LEC for the development of Anadenanthera peregrina. Were randomly selected 88 individuals in a forest recovery area and submitted to four treatments: T1 - without fertilization (control); T2 - 100% urea; T3 - 50% LEC + 50% urea; T4 - 100% LEC. For the analysis of the development of the plants the following biometric parameters were recorded: height, stem thickness at soil height and tree top diameter. There was a superior development for the seedlings that received the treatments T4 and T3 in all parameters, compared to the groups that received urea or control. The LEC, when applied in the field, accelerated the development of A. peregrina and could represent an economically interesting alternative and of less ecological impact for projects of recovery of degraded areas.
