Resumo
Discussions about literary reading in the school environment continue to input research data that are not encouraging for the long-desired reading horizons for our Basic Education students. Among the concerns of educators and researchers, there are considerations about the low adherence of students to literary reading and, in general, a generalized failure about the permanence of literature readers outside the school environment. The reflection proposed here is based on two concepts by Pedro Cesar Cerrillo Torremocha (2005) and the reading circles by Rildo Cosson (2021).
