Esta pesquisa teve por objetivo analisar o que acontece na troca de registro de representação quando se faz a conversão da tinta ao braille nas atividades matemáticas para o aluno cego. As atividades foram escolhidas das versões em tinta e em braille do material Caderno do aluno de Matemática da Proposta Curricular do estado de São Paulo, referente aos anos 2009-2013. A análise foi feita por meio de 6 categorias desenhadas com base na teoria dos Registros das Representações Semióticas de Duval. É uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo, a análise de conteúdo foi o método usado para seu desenvolvimento. Da análise das atividades se desenvolveram discussões em torno do que acontece na troca de registro, omissões e adições de unidades significantes e como essas mudanças podem ou não gerar dificuldades na realização da tarefa.

This research aimed to analyze what happens in the exchange of representation records when the conversion of ink to braille is done in mathematical activities for the blind student. The activities were chosen from the ink and braille versions of the Mathematics student Notebook material of the Curriculum Proposal of the state of São Paulo, referring to the years 2009-2013. The analysis was made using 6 categories designed based on the theory of the Records of Semiotic Representations of Duval. It is a qualitative research, content analysis was the method used for its development. From the analysis of the activities, discussions were developed around what happens in the exchange of records, omissions and additions of significant units and how these changes may or may not generate obstacles in carrying out the task.
