Abstract

In this paper we present some data from an ongoing doctoral research, which discussed Proportional Reasoning through a course with grade sixth to ninth mathematics teachers. Such research is authored by the first author of this paper and is supervised by the second author. In it are investigated possibilities of development and exploitation of the Proportional Reasoning through GeoGebra activities integrating arithmetic, geometry and algebra. It is a qualitative research and the data were produced during the course Proportional Reasoning: activities with GeoGebra integrating arithmetic, geometry and algebra. The data produced were obtained through reports of the teachers, assessment questionnaires, video records and field notebook.
