Abstract (portuguese)
Este trabalho é parte de um projeto contemplado com bolsa de iniciação científica (PIBIC/CNPq) e pretende verificar a possível percepção/compreensão de enunciados humorísticos por uma criança com Síndrome de Down entre 4 e 5 anos (E., portadora de trissomia simples). Para tal, partimos de uma perspectiva dialógico-discursiva, com bases nos trabalhos de Bakhtin e do Círculo (1997, 1999, 2014). Ainda que tais teóricos não tenham se aprofundado especificamente nos estudos de aquisição, estabelecemos um diálogo entre eles e estudiosos da linguagem, tais como Vygotsky (2005, 2007) e Bruner (1985). Ademais, com relação aos trabalhos que abordam o humor infantil e a perspectiva bakhtiniana, tomamos também como referencial teórico os trabalhos de Del Ré (2011), Del Ré et al.(2014, 2019, 2020) e Del Ré e Vieira (2019). Considerando tal referencial supracitado, propomos como metodologia a realização de uma entrevista com a mãe da criança, a fim de coletar informações importantes que auxiliaram na construção de 10 (dez) atividades dirigidas, de caráter lúdico, através das quais os dados foram coletados e também contribuíram como material complementar para a análise dos dados. Tendo em vista o contexto pandêmico e algumas considerações da responsável pela criança, a coleta de dados ocorreu de forma remota. A partir dela e da análise dos dados, foi possível comprovar a percepção/compreensão de enunciados e situações humorísticas pela criança. Além disso, foi possível a identificação de episódios de diversão partilhada, muitas vezes desencadeados por ação (imitação e cócegas), que abrem caminho para o humor.
Abstract (english)
This study is part of a project contemplated with a scholarship of scientific initiation
(PIBIC/CNPq) and intends to verify the possible perception/understanding of humorous
statements by a child with Down Syndrome between 4 and 5 years (E., carrier of simple
trisomy). For this, we start from a dialogical-discursive perspective, based on the works of
Bakhtin and the Circle (1997, 1999, 2014). Although such theorists did not specifically delve into
acquisition studies, we established a dialogue between them and language scholars, such as
Vygotsky (2005, 2007) and Bruner (1985). Moreover, in relation to the works that address the
children’s humor and the Bakhtinian perspective, we also take as theoretical reference the works
of Del Ré (2011), Del Ré et al.(2014, 2019, 2020) and Del Ré and Vieira (2019). Considering the
above mentioned reference, we propose as a methodology the conduct of an interview with the
child’s mother in order to collect important information that helped in the construction of 10 (ten)
directed activities, of a playful nature, through which the data were collected and also contributed
as complementary material for data analysis. In view of the pandemic context and some
considerations of the responsible for the child, the data collection took place remotely. From it
and data analysis, it was possible to prove the child’s perception/understanding of humorous
statements and situations. In addition, it was possible to identify episodes of shared fun, often
triggered by action (imitation and tickling), which pave the way for humor.
