As mulheres de Nelson Rodrigues: reflexões sobre teatro, sociedade e ensino

Nelson Rodrigues é uma figura polêmica, conhecido em grande parte por sua revelação das máscaras humanas, a partir da efetiva investigação das mazelas sociais nas relações interpessoais. Com opiniões divergentes e contraditórias em relação ao teatro e público da época, o dramaturgo constrói peças que beiram o absurdo, valendo-se de recursos revolucionários no cenário do teatro brasileiro (rompendo com a figura clássica enquanto a satiriza). Partindo da hipótese de que há uma obsessão pelo gênero feminino em suas obras, o presente trabalho propõe uma reflexão acerca de teatro, sociedade e ensino, partindo da investigação do universo rodriguiano. Pretendemos percorrer o caminho dessa dramaturgia avaliando, de um lado, a crítica da sociedade no que se refere à caracterização das personagens femininas, e, de outro lado, o potencial didático-político das peças em contexto de aprendizagem em sala de aula. Para tanto, cotejamos três obras do dramaturgo: Vestido De Noiva (1943), A Falecida (1953) e Os sete gatinhos (1958).

Abstract (english)

Nelson Rodrigues is a controversial figure, largely known for his revelation of human masks through the effective investigation of social ills in interpersonal relationships. With divergent and contradictory opinions related to the theater and the public of the time, the playwright builds plays that border on the absurd, making use of revolutionary resources in the Brazilian theater scenario (breaking with the classic figure while satirizing them). Started with the hypothesis that there is na obsession with the female gender in his works, this work proposes a reflection on theater, society and teaching through the investigation of the Rodrigues universe. We intend to walk the path of his dramaturgy, evaluating, on the one hand, the criticism of society through the characterization of female characters, and, on the other hand, the didactic-political potential of his plays in the context of learning in the classroom. To do so, we will compare three works by the playwright: Vestido De Noiva (1943), A Falecida (1953) and Os Sete Gatinhos (1958).
