Political-pedagogical macro-trends identified in Environmental Education projects in non-school educational contexts studied in Brazilian theses and dissertations

Resumo

The article presents an excerpt from a doctoral research in order to investigate the production of theses and dissertations about Environmental Education projects in non-school contexts, published from 1981 to 2016. This is a state of the art type research whose cut seeks to highlight possible political-pedagogical macro-trends in Environmental Education that guide the projects studied in these productions. The preponderant political -pedagogical macro-trend in the projects studied was the conservationist , followed by the pragmatic macro -trend present throughout the cut of our investigation. From the first decade of the present century researches that study projects based on Critical Environmental Education perspectives appear and they become more representative quantitatively in the second decade. Through the results presented by the analysis carried out it is verified that the Environmental Education developed in the form of projects in non-school educational contexts from a critical perspective is a trend still unrepresentative in the analyzed academic production.
