Educação para a liberdade por meio da arte

Abstract

A presente pesquisa considera que a arte é essencialmente fundamental para a formação de seres humanos livres, críticos e ativos na sociedade. A arte como experiência estética é uma forma de produção de sentido por meio da percepção, e se realiza na relação do sujeito com o mundo. Dentro da sala de aula, ela deve se firmar em pressupostos que a reconheçam como linguagem artística e área do conhecimento específico. O objetivo geral se configura em identificar, analisar e buscar possibilidades libertadoras para o ensino da arte em três diferentes escolas no contexto do ensino fundamental, na perspectiva dos docentes. Sendo assim, optou-se por percorrer um breve caminho histórico da arte pela educação brasileira, apresentando as concepções alicerçadas em propostas pedagógicas, até chegar à Arte/Educação, defendida por teóricos utilizados na fundamentação da pesquisa. A proposta deste trabalho também se firma na possibilidade de utilização da metodologia Waldorf como alternativa a um ensino de arte engessado, em direção à liberdade do ser. A fim de atingir os objetivos, foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa que utilizou como coleta de dados a análise documental, uma entrevista semiestruturada com seis professores e professoras de arte no ensino fundamental nas três escolas. Os resultados alcançados mostram as concepções que os professores têm sobre a arte e sobre suas formações iniciais. A maioria não considera que foram bem preparados, evidenciando a importância da formação continuada. Os questionamentos a respeito da busca de referenciais teóricos para o planejamento das aulas também receberam respostas variadas. Com relação aos Projetos-Políticos Pedagógicos, a maioria dos professores não sabem como está configurada a arte nesses documentos. Apesar dos docentes reconhecerem a grande importância da arte para a formação cultural e integral de qualquer ser humano, discorrem sobre os desafios deste ensino, como a falta de espaços e materiais adequados, a desvalorização da arte como área do conhecimento dentro das escolas e falta de pesquisa e planejamento adequados. Para que a arte no ensino fundamental seja difundida de forma contextualizada, como área do conhecimento específico, deve-se atribuir significância e buscar possibilidades para esta manifestação na formação docente e nas práticas pedagógicas dentro da escola, respeitando as individualidades, os processos e a liberdade dos educandos.

The following research considers art as a fundamentally essential part in the formation of free, critical and socially active human beings. Art as an aesthetic experience is one of the forms to produce meaning through perception, and is built upon the relation between the self(subject) and the World. Inside the classroom, Art must rely on pre statements that recognize it as a form of artistic language and a specific knowledge area. The main goal of this work is to identify, analyze and search for liberating possibilities for arts teaching in three different elementary schools, through the teachers' perspective. Hence, it was chosen to be made a brief presentation about the history of art's lecture on Brazilian education, presenting pedagogical proposals where they were built, until the definition of Art/Education, defended by the theorists utilized in the foundations of this research. This compositions' proposal is also based on the possibility of using Waldorf methodology as an alternative for the common way of teaching arts, towards the students freedom of thought. To achieve these objectives, qualitative research was conducted, utilizing data gathering from semi-structured interviews with elementary grade arts teachers from three schools. The achieved results show the concepcion's these teachers have about arts and its initial impact in education. Most of them do not think they were well-prepared, showing the importance of continuing education. The questioning about the search for theoretical reference on class planning also received multiple answers. As to the Pedagogical Policy Project from each school, most of the interviewees did not know how it was described the art teaching in it. Although the teachers recognition of the importance of art teaching as part of the cultural formation of the individual, there are challenges to be tackled related to this experience, as they are referred to in this work, such as lack of spaces and proper material, the detraction of art as an area of knowledge within schools and also the absence of proper research and planning. To make art on elementary grade diffuse, meaningful and contextualized, as a specific part of learning, it must receive significance and search for possibilities onto the teacher formation and within the pedagogical praxis inside the class, respecting the individuality, the process and the freedom of the students.
