Reabilitação estética funcional com cerâmicas livres de metal

Abstract

Metal free ceramics are a great choice when you want to reproduce the aesthetic and biomechanical characteristics of the teeth. In addition to color stability, they wear resistance and longetivity that enables an aesthetic and functional recovery similar to natural dentition. One of the most notorious causes of the failure of a prosthetic work is the neglect of reduction in the vertical dimension of occlusion. In these cases, the success of treatment is through the fulfillment of all stages of rehabilitation, ranging from the determination of the central relationship of the patient until the final cementation of the case. Rigorous planning through aesthetic and functional analysis coupled with the analysis of intraoral conditions are of fundamental importance for the rehabilitation success. In the treatments performed with ceramic systems, cementation should be made cautiously using an adhesive cement that don't intefere with the aesthetics of the prosthesis and its longevity. As cerâmicas livres de metal são uma ótima escolha quando se deseja reproduzir as características estéticas e biomecânicas dos dentes. Além da estabilidade de cor, a resistência ao desgaste e sua longevidade possibilitam uma recuperação estética-funcional semelhante à dentição natural. Um dos mais notórios causadores do fracasso de um trabalho protético é a negligência quanto à diminuição da dimensão vertical de oclusão. Nestes casos, o sucesso do tratamento se dá através do cumprimento de todas as etapas da reabilitação, que vai desde a determinação da relação central do paciente, até a cimentação final do caso. O rigoroso planejamento através da análise estético-funcional somado à análise das condições intra-orais são de fundamental importância para o sucesso reabilitador. Nos tratamentos realizados com sistemas cerâmicos metal free, a cimentação deve ser feita de forma cautelosa utilizando um cimento adesivo que não interfira na estética da prótese e na sua longevidade. Sendo assim, o objetivo desse trabalho foi relatar um caso clínico utilizando sistemas cerâmicos metal free para reabilitação estética e o restabelecimento da dimensão vertical para a reabilitação protética, devolvendo ao sorriso do paciente forma, estética e saúde
