Resumo
In this article, we present an investigation carried out on the linguistic attitudes of new students of the Language Courses in the city of Uberaba-MG in relation to different Brazilian Portuguese. For this, we developed and applied a test of linguistic attitudes in which the research participants listened and evaluated audios/speeches. In addition, we seek, based on the results found, to reflect on the sociolinguistic knowledge that was built throughout their lives until they reached the University.
