This study investigates the potential use of Search Engine Optimization techniques integrated into information management processes, in the optimization of information. The adaptation of content to Search Engine Optimization standards can not only improve visibility but also assist in categorizing and structuring internal data, facilitating faster and more efficient information retrieval within the organization. Of an exploratory and descriptive nature, this research listed the elements that permeate the four phases of the Search Engine Optimization process for the phases of information management, to demonstrate an expanded understanding of Search Engine Optimization as an effective tool, whether in the web environment or in the organization and management of information. It provides new perspectives on how optimization techniques can be remodeled to meet the informational challenges of organizations. As a result, Search Engine Optimization techniques, traditionally aimed at the web environment, are translated to enhance the phases of information management in the organizational context. In this way, Search Engine Optimization processes can be effectively integrated into information management, to improve accessibility, visibility, and efficacy of information in organizational environments, covering collection, selection, filtering, processing, systematization, organization, and retrieval of information, where the use of information permeates all these stages. In conclusion, by combining Search Engine Optimization techniques with information management, it is possible to meet both the informational requirements of the organization and improve the internal structuring and organization of data, contributing to informed decision-making and more agile processes.en
