Racismo científico e o antirracismo no teatro negro e na dança afrobrasileira

Abstract

This monograph aims to trace the main factors that triggered the difficulties of the insertion of the black body in the Brazilian black theater. Showing how the political context bravely interferes in the artistic formation of these peoples. The path outlined in this research permeates the country's political frictions as a New Republic; highlighting how the positivism movement and eugenics bring social impacts, and how some of the first artistic resistance movements of this period were built. I approach the importance of the Teatro Experimental do Negro, and other artistic manifestations. This investigation starts from the study of the historicity of actions in the political structure in recent years. The consequence of all this research is related to perceiving bodies at the endless crossroads and in search of artistic territory to remain in motion.

Esta monografia tem como intuito traçar os principais fatores que desencadearam as dificuldades da inserção do corpo negro no teatro negro brasileiro. Evidenciando como o contexto político interfere bravamente na formação artística destes povos. O caminho delineado nesta pesquisa, permeia entre os atritos políticos do país enquanto Nova República; destacando como a corrente do positivismo e da eugenia trazem impactos sociais, e em como foi construído alguns dos primeiros movimentos de resistência artística deste período. Abordo a importância do Teatro Experimental do Negro, e de outras manisfestações artisticas. Esta investigação parte do estudo da historicidade de ações na estrutura política nos últimos anos. A consequência de toda essa pesquisa, relaciona-se em perceber corpos na infinda encruzilhada e em busca de território artístico para permanecer em movimento
