Detalhe/fragmento: a contribuição da colagem para a formação da arte moderna no início do século XX

Abstract

O presente trabalho pesquisa a colagem e sua relação com as vanguardas modernistas da primeira metade do século XX. A colagem apareceu na arte moderna durante o cubismo com a ação de introduzir materiais do mundo real na tela. Com isto, nascia uma nova prática e linguagem artística que foi usada no movimento Dada e surrealista como forma de exploração pictórica e poética. Além disso, a colagem cubista promoveu a liberação do signo dentro da pintura e promoveu ela a linguagem, um meio sistemático de comunicação através de signos. O trabalho também analisa o cenário socioeconômico que promoveu uma mudança do signo como índice para o signo autônomo. The present work investigates collage and its relationship with the modernist avant-garde of the first half of the 20th century. Collage appeared in modern art during Cubism with the action of introducing materials from the real world into the canvas. With this, a new artistic practice and language was born that was used in the Dada and Surrealist movement as a form of pictorial and poetic exploration. In addition, the cubist collage promoted the liberation of the sign within the painting and it promoted language, an orderly system that operates signs. The work also analyzes the socioeconomic scenario that promoted a change from the sign as an index to the autonomous sign. As a tool for the analysis of collage works, the final part of the work details the characteristics of the aesthetics of the detail and fragment, from the book The Neo-Baroque Age by Omar Calabrese
