Importância da seleção de cor de resina composta

Abstract

A seleção de cor de Resina Composta é um dos mais importantes fatores no sucesso do tratamento estético e restaurador. A percepção da cor varia de pessoa para pessoa, apresentando assim diferenças durante a observação da cor do dente natural e a seleção da resina composta que deverá ser utilizada. Existe uma correlação entre os aspectos da visão, as cores e o efeito da luz, no entanto depende de características essenciais para a seleção do material restaurador, como, textura de superfície, forma, matiz, croma, valor, translucidez ou opacidade e a qualidade da luz. Sendo assim, o objetivo deste trabalho é estabelecer o conhecimento sobre princípios físicos e ópticos da cor, conhecimento das estruturas dentais e sua interação com a luz, onde apresenta a melhor forma e sequência para selecionar a cor do dente a ser restaurado.

The color selection of the composite resin is one of the most important factors for the success of the aesthetic and restorative treatment. The color perception varies from person to person, for that, presenting differences during the color examination of the natural tooth and selection of composite resin to be used. There is a correlation between the aspects of the vision, colors and the effect of the light, however, depends on the essential characteristics for the selection of the restorative material, such as surface texture, shape, hue, chroma, value, translucency or opacity and light quality. Therefore, the aim of this work is to provide knowledge about physical and optical principles of color, knowledge of dental structures and their interaction with light, which shows the best form and sequence to select the color of the tooth to be restored.
