Abstract

Lattice structures have garnered significant attention due to their lightweight nature and favorable mechanical properties. They find widespread application across various industries and engineering fields, such as automotive, aerospace, marine, and medical. Notably, the deformation of lattice structures allows the dissipation of substantial amounts of energy. In this work, we need to understand the mechanical behavior of the lattice structure. To do that, we need to design the structure in the software and then choose the right flexible material for printing the model thereafter the model is subjected to the experiments. The finite element method is included for comparison of the experiment and simulation.
