O presente trabalho teve por objetivo propor uma discussão a respeito da ação do Estado de São Paulo no combate à violência contra a mulher e da agenda de políticas públicas de segurança e amparo às vítimas que é oferecida pelo poder público estadual. Com a utilização de uma bibliografia constituída, em sua grande maioria, por mulheres pesquisadoras do Sul Global, realiza-se inicialmente um regaste histórico do movimento feminista e do processo de construção da mulher como sujeito político, aborda-se também discuções sobre a violência infringida aos corpos femininos e por fim realiza-se uma análise das políticas públicas que lidam com a problemática da violência doméstica e do feminicídio. A partir da coleta e análise de dados a respeito das políticas públicas que foram implementadas pelo poder estadual entre os anos de 2006 e 2016, sobre os indicadores de violência contra a mulher dos referidos anos e, também, com o auxílio de referências bibliográficas selecionadas, foi possível constatar que a ação do Estado atua em uma linha de redução de danos, mas não garante a sobrevivência das mulheres paulistas que se encontram em situação de risco.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this paper was to propose a discussion about the action of the State of São Paulo in the fight against violence against women.and the agenda of public policies of security and protection for the victims that is offered by the state public power. With the use of a bibliography made up, in its great majority, by female researchers from the Global South, a historical revival of the feminist movement and the process of construction of women as a political subject is initially carried out, followed by discussions about violence against female bodies, and finally, an analysis of public policies that deal with the issue of domestic violence and feminicide. From the collection and analysis of data regarding public policies that were implemented by the state power between the years of 2006 and 2016, the indicators of violence against women in those years and, also with the help of selected bibliographic references, it was possible to verify that the action of the State acts in a line of harm reduction, but does not guarantee the survival of women in the state of São Paulo who are at risk.
