The aim of this chapter is to demonstrate Gramsci’s perception on the relationship between class and party. He believed it to be determined by a dialectical movement radically different from predominant conceptions from the socialist labor movement at his time, with a strong scientism approach. The particularity of Gramsci's perceptions on this problem can be observed by the crucial importance he dedicates to the question of subjectivity. Gramsci's elaboration on the class/party relationship is significantly marked by suggestions contained in the work by Georges Sorel and Rosa Luxemburg.en
