Reduzindo a distância: como a cibercultura mediou processos teatrais na pandemia de COVID-19

Abstract

Esta pesquisa se edifica sobre a experiência de artistas da cena acerca da transformação vivenciada pelas Artes Cênicas durante a pandemia. Buscou-se ouvir a exposição de pesquisadoras que publicaram estudos desta temática, assim como atrizes locais que durante o período integraram o grupo Protótipo Tópico, sediado em Bauru – SP e compartilharam da trajetória do autor. Partimos do conceito de Realidade Virtual, apresentado por Antonin Artaud em 1938 e posteriormente aprofundado por autores como Oliver Grau e Pierre Lèvy. O conceito de “virtual”, quando aplicado ao teatro, abre portas para uma enorme variedade de estratégias e recursos que foram adotados pelos artistas da cena ao enfrentar a pandemia e suas implicações na arte teatral.

This research is built on the experience of artists in the scene regarding the transformation experienced by the Performing Arts during the pandemic. We sought to hear the presentation of researchers who published studies on this topic, as well as local actresses who during the period were part of the group Protótipo Tópico, based in Bauru – SP and shared the author's trajectory. We start from the concept of Virtual Reality, presented by Antonin Artaud in 1938 and later deepened by authors such as Oliver Grau and Pierre Lèvy. The concept of “virtual”, when applied to theater, opens the door to a huge variety of strategies and resources that were adopted by artists in the scene when facing the pandemic and its implications for theatrical art.
