Relatório Final do Estágio Curricular Obrigatório do curso de Medicina Veterinária, realizado junto ao Centro de Medicina e Pesquisa em Animais Selvagens - CEMPAS UNESP, Botucatu/SP, e ao Laboratório de Ensino e Pesquisa em Animais Silvestres - LAPAS UFU, Uberlândia/MG.

Abstract

Este relatório refere-se às atividades desenvolvidas pela discente Beatriz Cristiane Mioto, graduanda do curso de Medicina Veterinária da Faculdade de Ciências Agrárias e Veterinárias (FCAV) da Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (UNESP), campus de Jaboticabal, sob orientação da Profa. Dra. Karin Werther. O estágio curricular em prática veterinária foi realizado na área de Medicina de Animais Selvagens em duas instituições, sendo elas o Centro de Medicina e Pesquisa em Animais Selvagens (CEMPAS) da UNESP de Botucatu, realizado no período de 01 de abril a 31 de maio de 2023, sob supervisão da Profa. Dra. Sheila Canevese Rahal, perfazendo o total de 344 horas, e o Laboratório de Ensino e Pesquisa em Animais Silvestres (LAPAS) da Universidade de Uberlândia (UFU) de Uberlândia, realizado no período de 05 de junho a 31 de julho de 2023, sob supervisão do Prof. Dr. Marcio de Barros Bandarra, perfazendo o total de 328 horas. Ademais, o presente relatório possui a descrição do caso de interesse “Amputação de Membro Torácico em Tamanduá-mirim (Tamandua tetradactyla), acompanhado no período de estágio no Laboratório de Ensino e Pesquisa em Animais Silvestres (LAPAS/UFU).

This report refers to the activities carried out by the student Beatriz Cristiane Mioto, graduating from the Veterinary Medicine course at the School of Agricultural and Veterinarian Sciences (FCAV) of the São Paulo State University “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (UNESP), Jaboticabal campus, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Karin Werther. The curricular internship in veterinary practice was carried out in the area of Wild Animal Medicine in two institutions, the Centro de Medicina e Pesquisa em Animais Selvagens (CEMPAS) at UNESP in Botucatu, during the period of April 1st to May 31th, 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sheila Canevese Rahal, totaling 344 hours, and the Laboratório de Ensino e Pesquisa em Animais Silvestres (LAPAS) at the University of Uberlândia (UFU) in Uberlândia, during the period of June 5th to July 31th, 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marcio de Barros Bandarra, totaling 328 hours. In addition, this report has a description of the case of interest on "Thoracic limb amputatiton in a lesser anteater (Tamandua tetradactyla)", accompanied during the internship period, at Laboratório de Ensino e Pesquisa em Animais Silvestres (LAPAS/UFU).
