A dimensão educativa no trabalho do assistente social com famílias inseridas no PAIF: uma experiência de Poços de Caldas/MG

Abstract

Esta pesquisa objetivou analisar a dimensão educativa do trabalho do assistente social com famílias inseridas no Serviço de Proteção e Atendimento Integral à Família – PAIF, presente nos Centros de Referência de Assistência Social – CRAS do município de Poços de Caldas- MG. O estudo teve abordagem qualitativa, na perspectiva do método dialético, sendo exploratório, usando pesquisa bibliográfica, pesquisa documental e de campo. Na pesquisa bibliográfica utilizamos referenciais teóricos que perpassaram a divisão sociotécnica do trabalho, política de assistência social, bem como a dimensão educativa do trabalho do assistente social. No que tange à pesquisa documental foi utilizado o Plano Plurianual de Assistência Social do município de Poços de Caldas/MG. Trabalhamos, ainda, com pesquisa de campo, que teve como universo cinco CRAS do referido municípios, sendo os sujeitos cinco assistentes sociais, escolhidos de forma aleatória. O instrumento utilizado na recolha do material empírico foi entrevista semiestruturada, com a utilização de um roteiro para nortear a pesquisadora. O método para análise do material empírico foi o materialismo histórico dialético. Consideramos que os resultados apresentados poderão contribuir com uma reflexão acerca da Política de Assistência Social no âmbito do SUAS, bem como a respeito da dimensão educativa do trabalho do assistente social com as famílias inseridas no PAIF.

This research aimed to analyze the educational dimension of the work of the social worker with families included in the Service of Protection and Integral Assistance to the Family - PAIF, present in the Reference Centers of Social Assistance - CRAS of the municipality of Poços de Caldas-MG. The study had a qualitative approach, from the perspective of the dialectical method, being exploratory, using bibliographical research, documentary and field research. In bibliographical research we used theoretical references that covered the sociotechnical division of labor, social assistance policy, as well as the educational dimension of the social worker's work. With regard to documentary research, the Plurianual Plan of Social Assistance of the municipality of Poços de Caldas / MG was used. We also worked with field research, which had five CRAS of said municipalities as the universe, being the subjects five social workers, chosen in a random way. The instrument used in the collection of the empirical material was semi-structured interview, with the use of a script to guide the researcher. The method for analyzing the empirical material was dialectical historical materialism. We believe that the results presented may contribute to a reflection on the Social Assistance Policy within the scope of SUAS, as well as on the educational dimension of the social worker's work with the families included in the PAIF
