Four patients with androgenic syndromes were selected for this study; the selection looked for sufficient clinical, radiological and hormonal pictures to enable the correct diagnosis of the adrenogenital syndrome due to adrenal gland carcinoma, adrenal androgenic cortical hyperplasia, micropolycystic dysfunction of the ovaries and androgenic tumor of the ovary. The main elements that bring about differential diagnosis among these syndromes are pointed out. The conclusion is that the simultaneous analysis of the data given by clinical and radiological studies and those obtained by the dosage of the urinary 17 KS in conditions of adrenal inhibition and ovarian stimulation, makes it safer to arrive at the exact clinical diagnosis thus leading to better therapeutical management.en
