Resumo
This article presents a reflection on the possibilities of action by school libraries inside and outside the school and with the local community. Based on literature review and experience accounts, this exploratory descriptive theoretical study discusses how the applicability of ecosystemic thinking in the context of the school library can contribute to the construction of a communication, information and learning center capable of making this informational space fulfill its social function in the education system and the community.
