dc.description.abstract | This paper aims to identify the conceptions of nature brought forth by the Brazilian renewed educational ideas in the 20's and 30's. It was analysed documents and specialized journals dealing with education, published in that period. Besides that, it were also analysed literacy, geography and scholar science texts books that were utilized in schools in that period. From these analyses it was possible to identify some conceptions of nature, such as: anthropocentric utilitarian, anthropomorphic, and nature as mother, as all that was not made by man, as all that exist, as all that was created by God, or as book and finally the esthetical or romantic conception of the nature. These conceptions could be clearly identified in the text books, although they were found in the documents as well. | en |
