O desenvolvimento da imaginação pela literatura

Abstract

Este estudo buscou identificar e analisar, na produção cientifica a importância da literatura em sala de aula, bem como em casa, para o desenvolvimento da imaginação das crianças em geral. Esta pesquisa tem caráter qualitativo, os materiais selecionados compreendem o período de 2001 à 2018 e foram através de pesquisas na base de dados SciELO. Os livros aqui utilizados foram selecionados a partir de trabalhos de conclusão de curso que apresentam temática parecida com o estudo em questão. Para compreender a importância da literatura no desenvolvimento da imaginação da criança, é necessário em um primeiro momento conhecer um pouco da história da literatura infantil, nos ater ao papel do professor como mediador desse processo do desenvolvimento, compreender o lugar que a literatura tem ocupado em sala de aula, bem como sua importância para a criança, a importância dos livros que apresentam apenas imagens e a breve compreensão do processo de imaginação. Faz-se necessário também trazer a compreensão de que a fantasia não se dissocia da vida real, ela faz parte do processo de compreensão da realidade - na qual a criança esta inserida - pelo qual ela passa em seus diferentes estágios de desenvolvimento, e que partir da imaginação é que são desenvolvidas diversas outras áreas de sua vida. Através desse estudo foi possível compreender a grande importância do professor durante todo o processo de desenvolvimento das crianças, bem como a relação estabelecida entre criança, história e imaginação.

This study sought to identify and analyze, in the scientific production, the importance of literature in the classroom, as well as at home, for the developmentof the imagination of children in general. This research has a qualitative character, the selected materials cover the period from 2001 to 2018 and were selected through searches in the SciELO database. The books used here were selected based on end-of-course studies that present a similar theme to the study in question. To understand the importance of literature in the development of the child's imagination, it is necessary at first to know a little of the history of children's literature, to stick to the role of the teacher as mediator of this development process, to understand the place that literature has occupied in the classroom, as well as its importance for the child, the importance of books that present only images and the brief understanding of the process of imagination. It is also necessary to bring the understanding that fantasy is not dissociated from real life, it is part of the process of understanding reality - in which the child is inserted - through which it passes in its different stages of development, and that from the imagination is that several other areas of its life are developed. Through this study it was possible to understand the great importance of the teacher during the whole process of development of children, as well as the relationship established between child, history and imagination.
