Atualmente a questão de gênero está muito presente no esporte, além de toda relação que envolve a inclusão das mulheres nesse âmbito. No contexto do futebol, é ainda mais ressaltado aspectos envolvendo a diferença de gênero, já que é um meio onde ocorre uma significativa desigualdade por meio de diversas questões, sejam elas em suas infraestruturas ou em questões salariais. Esse fato ocorre principalmente pelo futebol ser considerado um ambiente machista. A presente pesquisa busca mostrar as dificuldades e possíveis preconceitos que treinadoras enfrentam no cenário futebolístico, podendo gerar interferências na carreira esportiva das mesmas. O estudo foi realizado adotando o método de revisão bibliográfica e documental, abordando amplamente a temática aqui retratada. Por meio, dessa metodologia, foi possível encontrar dados que mostram que as barreiras enfrentadas pelas mulheres no futebol têm longa data, como quando o futebol feminino passou por 38 anos de proibição no Brasil. Ainda é possível observar diversos relatos das dificuldades e preconceitos que as mulheres sofreram para inserção no meio, evidenciando a diferença de gênero no esporte. Espera-se maior conscientização dos leitores e da sociedade em relação a visão de que mulher e futebol são fatores mais conectados ao que o senso comum acreditava anteriormente. Fica claro que há um longo caminho a ser percorrido pelas mulheres no meio futebolístico, assim espera-se que sejam elaboradas mais pesquisas e estudos sobre o tema, a fim de minimizar e diminuir as barreiras que duraram tanto tempo.

Nowadays, the issue of gender is very present in sport, in addition to any relationship that involves the inclusion of women in this area. In the football context, aspects involving gender difference are even more emphasized, since it is a place where significant inequality occurs through several issues, whether they are in their infrastructure or wage issues. This fact occurs mainly because football is considered a macho environment. The present research seeks to show the difficulties and possible prejudices that coaches face in the football scenario, which can generate interference in their sports career. The study was carried out using the method of bibliographic and documentary review, broadly addressing the theme portrayed here. Through this methodology, it was possible to find data that reinforced the barriers faced by women in football have a long history, as when women's football went through 38 years of prohibition in Brazil. It is still possible to observe several reports of the difficulties and prejudices that women faced to be a part of this world, showing the gender difference in sport. It is expected that the readers and society will become more aware of the view that women and football are more related than previously expected. It is clear that there is a long way to go for women in football, so it is hoped that more research and studies on the topic are expected to be carried out, in order to minimize and reduce the barriers that have lasted so long.
