Resumo
Thinking about the differences between human beings according to male or female, as in a process given by nature, means to reduce human beings to a determinism based on sexual difference. In this context the present work aims to investigate how learning about love happens in fairy tales. In fairy tales there are significant differences in the way that the masculinity and the femininity are represented by relationships of superiority and submission. This is a literature review that offers future possibilities for children to speak what they know about love, about princesses and princes through a diversity of answers demonstrating as results that children can learn about the multiplicity and various meanings that make up love, female and male in fairy tales through the teacher's intentional intervention. It is concluded that the concept of gender allows us to think about differences without naturalizing inequalities, that is, without differences being legitimized as a starting point for discrimination.
