Resumo
Objective: Analyzes the theoretical aspects of Information Mediation considering the emancipatory collective dimension based on communicative action and intersubjective recognition, as it is understood that they enable relational practices that go beyond the transfer of knowledge in informational activities and present, from the formation discursive validity claims, a sense of resignification. Methods: Qualitative in nature, the investigation combines theoretical and bibliographic research, from an interpretive perspective to (self-reflection and critical reference) based on Habermas' communicative action and Honneth's theory of recognition. Furthermore, there is a need to establish theoretical concepts in the teaching-learning process on the phenomenon of mediação da informação. Results: It is believed that Information Mediation in activities involving informational practice still has its bias in instrumental rationality and, in turn, the emancipatory and intersubjective process of recognition is necessary to destructure systemic dependence. Conclusions: The theoretical characteristics of information mediation and what concerns the dialogue about the intersubjective dimension of recognition, that is, the receptivity that surrounds it as an emancipatory collective phenomenon, was understood interpretatively. Therefore, this study aims to contribute to the reflections on social and cultural studies in CI, in the context of information mediation, bringing to light interpretative approaches of gaps, theoretical and practical values still little studied, giving a new meaning to informational practices .
