Esta dissertação apresenta os resultados da pesquisa realizada durante o Mestrado com o objetivo de investigar o processo histórico da conquista do direito ao aborto legal, seguro e gratuito na Argentina, com foco na aprovação do Projeto de Lei de Interrupção Voluntária da Gravidez, sancionado em 2020. Para compreender essa trajetória, a pesquisa se apoia nas ações dos coletivos feministas argentinos, com destaque especial para as manifestações organizadas pelo Coletivo Ni Una Menos. A análise do processo de legalização do aborto será realizada a partir de uma abordagem multifacetada, que inclui o exame de eventos históricos significativos, documentos oficiais e publicações midiáticas. A partir desses dados, busca-se compreender as dinâmicas de poder, resistência e negociação que permearam a construção desse direito. Como ferramenta teórica central será utilizada a Teoria da Reprodução Social (TRS) para analisar como a luta pelo aborto legal se insere em um contexto mais amplo de transformações nas estruturas sociais e econômicas.

This dissertation presents the results of research carried out during the Master's degree with the aim of investigating the historical process of achieving the right to legal, safe and free abortion in Argentina, focusing on the approval of the Voluntary Termination of Pregnancy Bill, sanctioned in 2020. To understand this trajectory, the research is based on the actions of Argentine feminist collectives, with special emphasis on the demonstrations organized by the Ni Una Menos Collective. The analysis of the abortion legalization process will be carried out from a multifaceted approach, which includes the examination of significant historical events, official documents and media publications. Based on these data, the aim is to understand the dynamics of power, resistance and negotiation that permeated the construction of this right. As a central theoretical tool, the Theory of Social Reproduction (SRT) will be used to analyze how the fight for legal abortion fits into a broader context of transformations in social and economic structures.
