A metalinguagem de Henri Pousseur: Échos de Votre Faust

Abstract

The main objective of the following work is to analyze the satellite works of the cycle Échos de Votre Faust, by Henri Pousseur, from a metalinguistic perspective, relating them to the original scenes of the opera Votre Faust, and to other works cited. The first movement, La ligne des toits, for solo cello received a more detailed analysis, based on the harmonic network elaborated by Pousseur in his essay “The Second Apotheosis of Rameau” (2008) whose original publication is from 1968, by the french magazine La Revue d'Ésthetique. The work also has a brief bibliographical review about the opera Votre Faust, its reception and performances.

O seguinte trabalho tem como principal objetivo analisar as obras satélites do ciclo Échos de Votre Faust, de Henri Pousseur, de uma perspectiva metalinguística, relacionando-os com as cenas originais da ópera Votre Faust, e com outras obras citadas. O primeiro movimento, La ligne des toits, para violoncelo solo recebeu uma análise mais detalhada, a partir da rede harmônica elaborada por Pousseur em seu ensaio “Apoteose de Rameau, ensaio sobre a questão harmônica” (2008) cuja publicação original é de 1968, pela revista francesa La Revue d’Ésthétique. O trabalho conta ainda com uma breve revisão bibliográfica acerca da ópera Votre Faust, sua recepção e performances.
