Resumo
This article is the result of a study path carried out by a research group on action research in Sports Pedagogy, whose objective was to carry out a systematic review of scientific production on sports teaching methods. To this end, a search was carried out in the Ebsco database, which includes articles on Sport Pedagogy at an international level. The eight articles found were subjected to a reflective thematic analysis that allowed the following categories to be obtained: (a) Research location; (b) Research time; (c) Scenarios; (d) Production of information; (e) Instruments; (f) Pedagogical approach used; (g) Types of action research. It was concluded, therefore, that there are different ways of carrying out action research in Sports Pedagogy. Basically, research is for someone (collaborative) and/or about someone (strategic), that is, in the first case, the teaching process is designed for a certain group and there is dialogue with those who participate in the research. In the second group (about), research is carried out through a teaching intervention, in which those who participate do not contribute. Another finding of the analysis was the lack of research that investigates participants (critical action research).
