Resumo
This article presents an analysis of the trajectory and impact of the Oral History and Mathematics Education Group (Ghoem), aiming to understand how it has nucleated the training of researchers and teacher educators through its participation in the creation of other groups and scientific research hubs in the country. Founded in 2002, Ghoem is affiliated with the Mathematics Education Graduate Program at Unesp Rio Claro, the oldest program in Brazil. Over the years, Ghoem has played a fundamental role in creating research networks and disseminating knowledge in the History of Mathematics Education, notably. The authors propose a narrative about the formation and development of Ghoem, exploring distinct phases identified from reports, academic productions, and researcher data. In addition, they highlight the Group’s contributions to the creation of other hubs and research groups, using data from academic platforms and graphical schemes to visualize these connections. Thus, it promotes discussions about the different movements and impacts of Ghoem over its more than two decades of existence, highlighting its contributions to the field of Mathematics Education in Brazil.
