Resumo
Different studies and research have shown that rehabilitation training using rehabilitation robots and mechanical prototypes can have a highly positive impact on patients’ injuries. In robotic rehabilitation therapies, understanding human joint torques is crucial for patient safety, providing reliable data for clinical assessment and improving device control performance. However, measuring these torques can be complex and costly. Most techniques for torque estimation have been developed for lower limb robotic rehabilitation devices and often require detailed anthropometric and musculoskeletal models or prototypes. This study focuses on modeling a prototype for ankle rehabilitation. The objective of this article was to design assistive equipment to aid in patients’ recovery. The research methodology employed was descriptive/explanatory. The purpose contribution of this work is to a possible solution in the field of biomechanical areas for the benefit of society.
