Tecendo sons e palavras: oficina de música dirigida a portadores de distúrbios graves

Abstract

Nesta pesquisa levanta-se a hipótese de considerar a Educação Musical como contributiva no processo de inclusão escolar, levando em conta o fato de a música atingir o ser humano em sua subjetividade. Seguindo tal hipótese, apresenta-se o problema de descobrir maneiras da utilização da Educação Musical em projetos inclusivos. A pesquisa envolve a busca de subsídios na área da Educação Musical e na Psicanálise, voltados para a inclusão social e escolar de crianças e jovens, portadores de Distúrbios Graves na Infância, designação que inclui o autismo e a psicose infantil. Nesse sentido, o objetivo geral deste trabalho é mostrar a colaboração da Música no desenvolvimento destes jovens, mediante a exploração do simbolismo da linguagem musical e o trabalho de expressão corporal. O texto está estruturado em três partes: a primeira é relativa a características e etiologia do distúrbio; a inclusão social e escolar de portadores deste distúrbio, por meio de projetos educativos; e a discussão entre dois modelos sociais relacionados com práticas voltadas para crianças e jovens com dificuldades especiais. A segunda parte, trata principalmente da metodologia da pesquisa e seus fundamentos teóricos, que se buscou em três áreas do conhecimento: Música, Educação e Psicanálise; a terceira e última parte, explicita a prática intervencionista da pesquisa, que aconteceu por meio de oficinas de música realizadas no Projeto Tecer, um espaço terapêutico que tem, dentre outros objetivos, a inclusão social e escolar de crianças e jovens portadores do distúrbio citado.

This research raises the hypothesis of considering musical education as a contributory factor in the process of educational inclusion, taking in account the fact that music can reach the deep realms inside human beings. Following this hypothesis, we face the challenge of discovering ways to use musical education in inclusion projects. The research involves seeking subsidies in the realms of musical education and psychoanalysis, aimed at social and educational inclusion of children and young people suffering from Children’s Severe Mental Disorders, designation which includes autism and infantile psychosis. In this sense, the main target of this study is to show how music helps the development of these young people, exploring the symbolisms of musical language and the applications of body expression techniques. This work is structured in three sections, the first one being related to the distinctive traits and the etiology of the disease; the social and educational inclusion of those suffering from this disorder by means of educational projects; and the confrontation of two social models related to the practices aimed at children and youth with special disabilities. The second section approaches to the research methodology and its theoretical foundation, which came from three fields of knowledge: Music, Education and Psychoanalysis. The third and conclusive section elucidates the intervention practice of the research, through workshops of music developed in the Project TECER, a therapeutic room which has as its main goals the social and educational inclusion of children and young people suffering from the aforementioned disorders.
