Resumo
Mikhail Bakhtin e seu Círculo desenvolveram relevantes contribuições para o estudo da linguagem humana, a exemplo dos campos artístico-cultural e literário, favorecendo várias outras áreas de estudo por meio de seus conceitos e categorias. O presente trabalho visa perscrutar as contribuições dessa teoria no tocante à análise das toadas de Bumba-meu-boi do Maranhão como gênero discursivo, evidenciando o diálogo com o contexto histórico-político-cultural, a partir das categorias bakhtinianas do enunciado, do dialogismo e de gênero. O percurso da investigação reflete a tentativa de se pontuar a importância de cada capítulo no processo de construção do trabalho. Logo, o primeiro capítulo trata da cultura, cultura popular e folclore. O segundo situa o Bumba-meu-boi e toda sua trajetória, de suma importância para o entendimento da relação estabelecida entre as toadas e o auto. No terceiro, situa-se o campo teórico que dá suporte para a aplicação dos conceitos e das categorias para o exame e análise do objeto. O capítulo quatro evidencia que as características das toadas e suas especificidades como estilo, conteúdo e forma composicional são determinadas pelo intuito discursivo, ou seja, pela relação estabelecida com o enunciado. Por fim, o último capítulo apresenta a análise de três toadas de diferentes décadas, pós-ditadura militar, com vistas a evidenciar o diálogo ininterrupto com o contexto histórico-político-cultural em que se inserem. Os resultados dessa pesquisa mostraram que a relação interativa com o contexto constitui esse gênero discursivo, cuja dimensão histórico-político interfere no discurso dos enunciadores que determinam e são determinados por ele, fortalecendo sua tradição e constituindo sua identidade.
Mikhail Bakhtin and his Circle developed relevant contributions to the study of human language, like the artistic and cultural fields and literary, encouraging several other areas of study through its concepts and categories. This paper aims to scrutinize the contributions of this theory regarding the analysis of the tunes of Bumba-meu-boi do Maranhão, as genre, from the categories of the sentence and bakhtinian dialogism. The course of the investigation reflects the attempt to score the importance of each chapter in the construction work. So the first chapter deals with the culture, popular culture and folklore. The second places the Bumba-meu-boi and all its history, of paramount importance for the understanding of the relationship between the auto and the tunes. In the third, lies the theoretical field that supports the application of concepts and categories for the examination and analysis of the object. The chapter four shows that the characteristics of tunes and their specificities as style, compositional form and content are determined by the order of discourse, ie the relationship established with the statement. Finally, the last chapter presents the analysis of three tunes from different decades, aiming to highlight the continued dialogue with the historical, political and cultural environment in which they operate. Thus, it is emphasized that this relationship is that interactive genre, historical and social dimension which affects the speech of speakers who determine and are determined by him, strengthening its tradition and forming their identities.
