Resumo
In a tight tour inside the world of current technological development, the focus is on the consequences of the set of developing technologies on human life, and the calls from the international academy of exact sciences to the academy of social sciences and humanities to think on time the coming society. The call is more urgent for thinkers of the South since the existing North-South asymmetries today could grow up to become irreversible.
