THE IMPORTANCE OF WRITING WORKSHOP AT THE FUNDAMENTAL TEACHING LEVEL
Abstract
This article, resulting from a literature review and an experience in the fifth year of Elementary School in a municipal school in Fortaleza during the year 2015, aims to reflect on the importance of writing workshop in Elementary School. The study is guided by Calkins (1989), Jolisbert (1994), Rhodes and Dudley-Marling (1996) and Goodland (1984). For the training of freelance writers, teachers can request daily text production and suggest topics related to children's lives. Thus, the production of text will make sense for the students, since their lives are important and having it as a theme will arouse motivation and interest in the production of text.
