Science, technology and communication are embodied in the configurations of use and operation of the geographic space. The study of the relations between technique and space, of the spatial repercussions of the technological revolution, highlights the Geography of the technical-scientific-informational environment. Constituting a new form of materialization of the advances of capitalist society, cyberspace is corroborated in a reality that Geography, as a science that studies socio-spatial organization, needs to incorporate in its arsenal of concepts. Facing the creation of new horizons of reality in the contemporary world, this thesis focused on understanding the perception of reality resulting from the interface between Geography and Technology. For this purpose, technique and technology were highlighted as inseparable parts of historical development and their actions in the geographic space. The relationships built between social networks and democracy, such as net activism and electoral processes, elucidate the touchstone in real x virtual dialectics, between streets and networks. The reticular does not replace, nor does it eliminate the material form. New social, economic and cultural arrangements spring from this urban-digital relationship. The great change of political paradigm in the 21st century was driven by technology and its army of algorithms imbued with producing senses and remodeling political actions and governments. Thenosphere and the psychosphere intertwine dialectically. In the labyrinth of the Internet, more than a technological change, we have a new way of thinking society.
