Resumo

The advent of technical-scientific-informational environment has taken place after the Second World War and it is characterized by the use of modern technologies. In Brazil, the technical-scientific-informational environment has only become effective in the 1970s and had a great influence on the production process. The supply centers were created by the Federal Government within the same period and they are most concentrated in the South and Southeast regions of Brazil. The objective of this article is to address the articulation of supply centers with the technical-scientific-informational environment, highlighting the South and Southeast regions, given that in these two regions agricultural innovations and modernization were more significant. To elaborate the article, a bibliographic survey on the technical-scientific-informational environment, the supply centers and the modernization of agriculture was carried out, as well as the collection of data and information in ABRACEN, CONAB and CEAGESP publications.
