Resumo
O trabalho teve por objetivo analisar os sacos aéreos da perdiz (Rhynchotus rufescens Temminck, 1815) para aprimorar os conhecimentos anatômicos específicos à espécie. Foram utilizados 20 animais. O material cadavérico foi coletado após o abate de animais oriundos de projetos na área de produção. Cinco animais foram submetidos à Tomografia Computadorizada com contraste de iodo. Mais 10 perdizes foram submetidas aos exames radiográficos com o contraste de sulfato de bário com repleição através da traqueia até o completo preenchimento do sistema respiratório. Cinco animais foram injetados com látex e dissecados. Foi possível visualizar sete sacos aéreos: um clavicular, dois torácicos craniais, dois torácicos caudais e dois abdominais. Na imagem tomográfica e radiográfica não foi possível individualizar os sacos aéreos.
This study aimed to analyze the air sacs of the partridge (Rhynchotus rufescens Temminck, 1815) to improve the specific anatomical knowledge to the species. Twenty animals were used. The cadaverous material was collected after the slaughter of animals from projects in the production area. Five animals were submitted to Computed Tomography with iode contrast. Another ten partridges were subjected to radiographic examinations with barium sulfate contrast with repletion through the trachea until the respiratory system was completely filled. Five animals were injected with latex and dissected. It was possible to visualize seven air sacs: one clavicular, two cranial thoracic, two caudal thoracic and two abdominal. In the tomographic and radiographic image, it was not possible to individualize the air sacs. Other comparative studies between species are important to better define the specific anatomy of each species.
