Resumo
From the pragmatic philosophy of William James which enhances the concept of fragmentation and disjunctive junction of fragments as well as from the French philosophy of post-68 it was delineated the notion of document as assemblage, allowing to trace the evolution protocols for the bibliographic description from the AACR, passing through the conceptual model FRBR, RDA and reaching the Semantic Web where rhizomatic structures of knowledge representation are identified.
