Resumo
O sistema SCADA as a Service — também chamado Controle Supervisório e Aquisição de Dados em nuvem — é um sistema utilizado para controlar processos de forma remota, esse sistema permite registrar eventos, coletar, monitorar e processar dados. O objetivo central do trabalho é realizar um estudo com a finalidade de entender o sistema SCADA as a Service aplicado na gestão de energia, suas vantagens e desvantagens e maiores diferenças quando comparado com sistemas tradicionais. Propõe-se, assim, apresentar uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre o assunto, aplicando pesquisa exploratória e descritiva com a finalidade de entender mais sobre o assunto e elaborar hipóteses que alcancem o objetivo proposto. Sob essa ótica, com a possibilidade de hospedar um sistema SCADA na nuvem, surge um novo modelo de negócio, que apresenta grandes vantagens para gerenciamento energético.
SCADA as a Service — Supervisory Control and Cloud Data Acquisition — is a system used to control remote processes, allowing for data collection, monitoring and processing. The main goal of this paper is to understand SCADA as a Service applied to energy management, its advantages and disadvantages and biggest differences when compared to traditional solutions. It is proposed, therefore, to present a bibliographical research on the subject, applying exploratory and descriptive research in order to understand more about the subject and to elaborate hypotheses that reach the proposed goal. From this perspective, with the possibility of hosting a SCADA system on the cloud, a new business model emerges, which presents great advantages for energy management.
