The present investigation was developed within the scope of the Education Graduate Program at UNESP - Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of Presidente Prudente, linked to the research line “Formative processes, teaching and learning”. The focus of the research is centered on the initial training of four foreign language teachers, who taught English and Spanish language classes and were undergraduates of the course while in Letters course at FCL (Faculty of Sciences and Languages of Assis.), in 2019. In this way, the research portrays the trajectory of the teaching experiences of these teachers in initial training in a project of teaching languages of Tarumã called PELT (Teaching Languages project of Tarumã), which is a partnership between the Municipality of Tarumã and FCL /Assis, being considered a university extension project since 1997. From the narratives obtained, we seek to describe, analyze and understand the training processes of these foreign language teachers in that context in order to weave their teaching experiences in initial training. Also, through official documents, such as the agreement process between the institutions, podcast of those involved in the idealization of the language project, and documentary collections, we describe the history and organizational configuration of PELT. We base our work on narrative research based on Clandinin and Connelly (2011) as we consider it the most appropriate for achieving the objectives of this research. The data collection instruments used were the narrative interview based on the contributions of the sociologist Fritz Schutze (1983) and our analytical procedure was based on the comprehensiveinterpretative analysis (Souza, 2014) whose aim was to perform a metaphor for reading the narratives in three times, such as: remembering, narrating and reflecting on what was experienced in the process of initial teacher education in the PELT context. The analysis of the narratives was based on the theoretical contributions of Almeida Filho (2001) Telles (1999, 2002, 2004), Souza (2004, 2014), Quadros and Leite (2019), Tardif (2010), Leffa (2008) and Larrosa (2002). The trajectory carried out in this research revealed that the participants, who taught foreign language classes at Teaching Languages project of Tarumã in 2019, considered the space favorable for the construction and development of the teaching identity and their experiences were positive. The participants' narratives point out that PELT contributes to the development of the process of becoming a teacher, as it prepares the graduating student for the future workspace. In addition to being an opportunity for teachers in initial training to reflect on their educational practices, weave and share subjective and collective experiences in this context.
