Resumo
Esta investigação teve início na relação entre dois grandes temas: a influência da tecnologia na vida das pessoas e a forma de uso dos espaços virtuais. Embasamo-nos na hipótese de que o espaço virtual apresenta elementos e características que tendem a possibilitar o processo de ensino com novas maneiras de compreensão das informações e desenvolvimento de competências e habilidades. Em busca de verificação de tal hipótese é que o objetivo principal da tese se estabeleceu: investigar a relação entre as diversas gerações digitais e a forma de uso dos espaços virtuais, analisando as principais características identificadas. Com base no levantamento bibliográfico realizado, apresentamos o referencial teórico desta tese, que foi guia para discussão dos temas centrais da pesquisa. Quanto à metodologia, dois caminhos foram trilhados: a revisão sistemática da literatura e a investigação de dados. Um roteiro de análise nos auxiliou na seleção dos materiais encontrados. Considerando a visão sistêmica e panorâmica apresentada por esta investigação, como principal resultado encontrado foram apresentadas as características predominantes da relação entre gerações digitais, estilos de uso do espaço virtual e as suas faixas etárias influenciando diretamente as tendências e serviços.
This investigation began with the relationship between two major themes: the influence of technology on people's lives and the way in which virtual spaces are used. We are based on the hypothesis that the virtual space presents elements and characteristics that tend to make the teaching process possible with new ways of understanding information and developing skills and abilities. In search of verification of this hypothesis, the main objective of the thesis was established: to investigate the relationship between the different digital generations and the way in which virtual spaces are used, analyzing the main characteristics identified. Based on the bibliographic survey carried out, we present the theoretical framework of this thesis, which was a guide for the discussion of the central themes of the research. As for the methodology, two paths were taken: the systematic review of the literature and the investigation of data. An analysis script helped us in the selection of the materials found. Considering the systemic and panoramic view presented by this investigation, as the main result found, the predominant characteristics of the relationship between digital generations, styles of use of virtual space and their age groups were presented, directly influencing trends and services.
