Resumo
O presente trabalho teve como objetivo analisar e discutir o modelo disciplinar praticado na Unidade de Internação da Fundação Centro de Atendimento Socioeducativo ao Adolescente – Fundação CASA – antiga Fundação Estadual do Bem-Estar do Menor – FEBEM – do município de Araraquara, interior do Estado de São Paulo, à luz da Teoria das Representações Sociais de Serge Moscovici. A escolha desta Unidade se deu por esta ser considerada o modelo de atendimento ao adolescente em conflito com a lei dentro da Fundação. A análise das representações sociais foi pautada em dez entrevistas compreensivas realizadas com quatro adolescentes ex-internos, quatro professores do ensino formal que atuaram na instituição, uma funcionária técnica da área pedagógica e um membro da direção da Unidade que participaram da dinâmica institucional entre os anos de 2004 e 2005. Entendendo a Fundação CASA como uma instituição social, fizemos uma discussão a respeito da sociedade em que vivemos, abordando a especificidade da formação social, política e cultural brasileira e seus desdobramentos no que diz respeito às possibilidades da juventude no cenário atual; às questões dos direitos de cidadania, direitos humanos e democracia; e aos direitos específicos das crianças e adolescentes desde o primeiro Código de Menores, de 1927 até o Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente, de 1990. Especificamente sobre a instituição estudada, adotamos a definição de Instituição Total, de Erving Goffman e analisamos seu funcionamento a partir dos escritos de Michel Foucault sobre o poder, a disciplina e as prisões, além de apresentarmos três documentos que dão as diretrizes para o funcionamento das Unidades da Fundação CASA, produzidos pela própria instituição e trazermos alguns dados sobre o atendimento executado no Estado de São Paulo e na Unidade de Araraquara, também...
The present work had the objective to analyse and to discuss the disciplinal model practiced in the Unity of Admission of the Foundation Service Social-educative Center to Adolescent – CASA Foundation – ancient state Foundation of the Well-being of the Juvenile – FEBEM – of the local authority of Araraquara, interior of the State of Sao Paulo, by the light of the Theory of the Social Representations of Serge Moscovici. The choice of this Unity happened since this one was considered the model service to an adolescent in conflict with the law inside the Foundation. The analysis of the social representations was ruled in ten understanding interviews carried out with four ex-internal adolescents, four teachers of the formal teaching who acted in the institution, a technical official of the pedagogic area and a member of the direction of the Unity that participated of the dynamic of the institution between the years of 2004 and 2005. Understanding the CASA Foundation like a social institution, we made a discussion about the society in which we lived, boarding the peculiarity of the Brazilian social, political and cultural formation and his ramifications what concerns the means of the youth nowadays; to the questions of the rights of citizenship, human rights and democracy; and to the specific rights of the children and adolescents from the Juveniles' first Code, of 1927 up to the Statute of Child and Adolescent, of 1990. Specifically on the studied institution, we adopt the definition of Total Institution, of Erving Goffman and analyse his functioning from the writings of Michel Foucault about the power, the discipline and the prison, besides presenting three documents that give the directives for the functioning of the Unities of the CASA Foundation, when they were produced by the institution itself and we bring some data on the service executed in the State of Sao Paulo and in the...
