Resumo
A proposta para esta Dissertação define-se como a realização de um estudo cultural assentado nas obras do Acadêmico sul-mato-grossense Hélio Serejo, através da recuperação, descrição e análise dos recursos estilísticos, retóricos e argumentativos. Os dois capítulos iniciais consistem em um tipo de painel representativo de vários elementos que refletem o período correspondente à expansão de colonização e que, por isso, integram a formação sócio-cultural-ideológica e, sobretudo, lingüística, cunhando a identidade da região fronteiriça, situada a oeste de Mato Grosso do Sul, face às demais regiões brasileiras. O estudo de alguns fragmentos retirados de obras de Serejo, nos dois capítulos iniciais, justifica-se pela necessidade de fazer uma apresentação de aspectos relevantes para a Cultura e Literatura sul-mato-grossenses recolhidos e re(a)presensentados sob a ótica desse Autor. Para tanto, valho-me dos pressupostos teóricos da Estilística e da Crítica literária. Procuro estabelecer pontos de contato entre a sistematização de autores como Pontes (1981) e Candido (1962), de cuja dialética sobressaem, sobretudo, pontos de vista contrastantes, que sinalizam para a necessidade de se repensar e reescrever parte da teoria e crítica literária sul-mato-grossenses. No terceiro capítulo, um discurso laudatório, do autor em estudo, amplia o corpus da pesquisa e é analisado pela perspectiva da Retórica e da Argumentação, com fundamento na doutrina de Aristóteles [s.d.], Tringali (1988), Perelman (2002), entre outros, com a finalidade de verificar a produção dos argumentos e o seu correspondente efeito persuasivo de sentido. A partir da reflexão sobre os textos foi possível verificar e existência de duas modalidades discursivas predominantes na escritura de Hélio Serejo...
The proposal for this Dissertation is defined as the accomplishment of a cultural approach based in the works of the Brazilian writer Hélio Serejo, from the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, through the recovery, description and analysis of the rhetorical-argumentative resources. The two initial chapters consist of a kind of representative panel of several elements that reflect the period corresponding to the colonization expansion and integrate the partner-cultural-ideological and, above all, linguistic formation, coining the identity of this frontier region, in the West of Mato Grosso do Sul, face to the other Brazilian regions. The study of some fragments from Serejo works, in the two initial chapters, is justified for the need of doing a presentation of relevant aspects for the Culture and Literature from Mato Grosso do Sul collected and presented/represented under the Author's optics. For so much, it is based on the theoretical presuppositions of Stylistics and Literary Criticism. It was tried to establish contact points among systemizations made by Bridges (1981) and Cândido (1962), from whose dialectics stands out, above all, contrasting points of view, that signal for the need of rethinking and redrafting part of the literary theory and criticism in Mato Grosso do Sul. In the third chapter, a laudatory speech, made by the author in focus, enlarges the corpus of the research and is analyzed by the perspective of Rhetoric and Argumentation, based on Aristotle's [s.d.], Tringali s (1988), Perelman s (2002) doctrines, among others, with the purpose of verifying the production of the arguments and their correspondent persuasive effect in sense...
