Resumo
O trabalho apresentado tem por objetivo analisar os mecanismos de apresentação, apreensão e tratamento dado às vozes sociais nos artigos de opinião de Roberto Pompeu de Toledo publicados semanalmente na revista Veja. Para tanto, toma como fundamentação teórica a obra de Mikhail Bakhtin e seu Círculo; organizada com base no que, nem sempre, mas freqüentemente, se considera seu denominador comum: o conceito de dialogismo. Esse posicionamento teórico leva a estabelecer procedimentos de análise que privilegiam a identificação e caracterização das diferentes vozes por meio das quais os textos se constituem, o exame do processo de transmissão/representação do discurso do outro, nesse contexto em que se entende que as dinâmicas da inter-relação das vozes representa a inter-relação social dos sujeitos com a ideologia. Para isso, foram avaliados 25 textos de Toledo publicados entre julho e dezembro de 2005 na revista Veja. Esses textos caracterizam-se pela temporalidade atual das temáticas abordadas, tendo o cronótopo uma função organizadora dos textos e de seus sentidos, como também o uso de ironias e de discursos reportados, elementos de transmissão valorativa da voz do enunciador. Verificamos que as ironias e os discursos reportados se constroem por meio de uma relação de vozes, que contribuem para a amenização do modo de dizer a crítica do enunciador. Se há relativização de um lado; de outro, ao recorrer a outros dizeres e saberes, sustentando sua opinião neles, o enunciador tenta fazer do seu posicionamento um dizer irrefutável, dando-lhe um peso absoluto. Entretanto, vêse que se instaura no texto apenas um efeito de irrefutabilidade, uma vez que o sentido atribuído a ele é construído por um jogo entre o texto, o enunciador e o enunciatário, e este pode ou não concordar com o que é dito.
This paper has for objective to analyze the mechanisms of presentation, apprehension and treatment given to the social voices in the opinion articles of Roberto Pompeu de Toledo weekly published in the magazine Veja. To do so, it takes as theoretical base Mikhail Bakhtin's work and his Circle; organized based in what, not always, but frequently, is considered his common denominator: the dialogism concept. This theoretical positioning makes us establish analysis procedures that privilege the identification and characterization of the different voices through which the texts are constituted, the examination of the transmission/representation process of the other’s discourse, in this context in which it is understood that the interrelation dynamics of the voices represent the social interrelation of the subjects with the ideology. For that, 25 texts of Toledo, published between July and December of 2005 in the magazine Veja, were evaluated. These texts are characterized by the actuality of the themes approached, and the “cronótopo” has the function of organizing these texts and their meanings, as well as the use of ironies and reported discourses, elements of evaluative transmission of the enunciator’s voice. We verified that the ironies and the reported speeches are composed through a voices relationship, that contributes to the softness of the criticism that is present in the enunciator’s voice. If there is relativism on one side; in the other side, when he goes through the other sayings and knowledge, sustaining his opinion in them, the enunciator tries to turn his positioning into an irrefutable saying, giving it an absolute weight. But in the text is establish only an effect of an irrefutable voice, because the meaning given to the text is formed by a game between text, enunciator and enunciatary, and this one may agree or not with is said on the text.
