Resumo
A família moderna, além de se caracterizar como o principal espaço de socialização de seus membros, torna-se, na sociedade atual, a responsável igualmente pela sua conservação. Imersa em uma série de ideais de diferentes naturezas (religiosos, filosóficos, políticos, sociais etc.), a família é também compreendida como um lugar seguro e capaz de proporcionar o desenvolvimento sadio de seus membros. No entanto, a convivência diária de uma família possui diversas facetas distintas e nem sempre relacionadas ao ideal de família veiculado. A violência doméstica é uma dessas facetas e sua ocorrência vem justamente desmistificar o ideal que fora construído historicamente acerca do tema família. A educação através da punição é um hábito antigo que teria surgido, nos termos de Ariès (1978), à medida que a família burguesa se constituiu, por volta dos séculos XVII-XVIII, hábito que fora reforçado nos antigos colégios, onde o professor era autorizado a castigar os alunos. Esse hábito de educar por meio da punição ainda é muito comum nas famílias atuais e tem-se legitimado pela crença de que somente dessa maneira é possível que se eduque uma criança. Os prejuízos dessa prática educativa são imensos e atingem áreas importantes da vida de suas vítimas. A vivência da violência doméstica faz, no entanto, com que a criança acabe naturalizando esse fenômeno, à medida que se apropria da violência enquanto forma de educação. Compreender a perspectiva que a criança possui sobre a situação de violência constituiu o objetivo deste estudo. However, the daily lives of a family has several different facets and not always related to the ideal of family run. Domestic violence is one of these facets and their occurrence is just dispel the idea that was historical y built on the family theme. Education through the punishment is an old habit that had arisen in terms of Ariès (1978), as the bourgeois family is formed, around the XVII-XVIII, which was reinforced habit in the old schools where the teacher was authorized to punish the students. This habit of educating through the punishment is stil very common in households today and is legitimized by the belief that only this way it is possible to educate a child. The loss of educational practice are immense and important areas affecting the lives of their victims. The experience of domestic violence does, however, that the child wil naturalizing this phenomenon, as it appropriates the violence as a form of education. Understanding the prospect that a child has on the situation of violence was the purpose of this study. For this, interviews were conducted with child victims of domestic violence, besides the daily use of the field.
