Resumo
Toda prática profissional do assistente social supõe uma dimensão educativa, que pode se dar em diferentes sentidos. Esta dimensão, na profissão, vem ganhando destaque e tem sido pautada tanto pelo conjunto da categoria quanto pelos seus empregadores. Em Campinas, especificamente, esta discussão ganhou corpo desde que o Partido dos Trabalhadores assumiu a gestão municipal em janeiro de 2001, voltada para a área social com o indicativo de inversão de prioridades do governo, intensificando forças nas ações de cunho preventivo e menos no curativo e burocrático. Ocorreu, neste cenário, um destaque, na Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social, ao trabalho com Comunidades descentrralizado e isso pôs no centro de discussões o papel educativo do assistente social no processo. Nesta pesquisa pretende-se, portanto, conhecer e analisar a forma como a dimensão educativa é concebida pelos assistentes sociais na sua atuação profissional junto ao trabalho Comunitário da Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social da Prefeitura Municipal de Campinas, S.P, no período 2001-2004, como também estudar a relação entre a proposta de Trabalho Comunitário com a Educação Popular e o Serviço Social no quotidiano profissional dos assistentes sociais. Será abordada a profissão de Serviço Social na dimensão educativa, utilizando-se, principalmente, de reflexões de Iamamoto, Netto, Faleiros, Batistone, Serra e Abreu que discutem o educativo na profissão como algo intrínseco ao fazer profissional, bem como alertam para as possibilidades das diferentes direções educativas impressas pelo assistente social a partir da sua vinculação aos interesses de determinada classe social. Será feito um aprofundamento da concepção de Educação como uma prática social determinada e determinante (embora esta em menor grau) capaz de contribuir para a formação de determinados tipos de homens...
Every professional practice of the social helper assumes an educative dimension, wich can happen in different ways. This dimension in occupation has been standing out and has been lined for the group category and for its employers. In Campinas specifically, this discussion has grown since Partido dos Trabalhadores took over the municipal management in January 2001, concerned about the social area with the indicative of priorities inversion of the government, intensifying strength in the preventive actions and less in the curative and bureaucratic. There was an interesting fact in this scenery, an eminence in the Municipal Secretary of Social Help, for the work with Communities decentralized and it put the part of the social helper in the process in the center of the discussion. The intention of this research is to learn and analyze the way the educative dimension in conceived by the social helpers in the professional performance together with the Community work of Municipal Secretary of Social Help from Campinas - SP Municipal City Hall, from 2001 - 2004, as well as studying the relation between the offer the Community work with popular education and the social service of the social helpers professional daily. The educative dimension of Social Service will be approached, using mainly the reflections of Iamamoto, Netto, Faleiros, Bastistone, Serra e Abreu that discuss the educative in ocupation as something instrinsic related to the professional, as well as to alert to possibilities of different educative directions stated by the social helper from his/her bonding to the interests of a determinate social class. There will be an educational conception development as a social practice that's determined and determining (in smaller degree though) and able to contribute to determinate kinds of men's formation and interfere directly, on the reproduction process of the hegemonic social relations...(Complete abstract, click electronic access below)
