Resumo
Os herbicidas metribuzin e isoxaflutole são utilizados para o controle de plantas daninhas na cultura de cana-de-açúcar. Em áreas de cana-de-açúcar colhida mecanicamente e sem queima, a eficácia desses herbicidas na presença da palha ainda é pouco conhecida. Objetivando melhor compreensão, avaliou-se a eficácia da aplicação isolada ou em mistura de metribuzin e isoxaflutole, no controle das plantas daninhas que se adaptam para se estabelecer na presença de palha de cana-de-açúcar, bem como, a intoxicação dos produtos nas variedades de cana-de-açúcar. Para tanto, instalaram-se quatro experimentos a campo em diferentes momentos do ano e condições climáticas. Dois destes foram realizados em períodos secos (agosto e setembro) e em áreas de cana-de-açúcar da variedade SP81-3250 (3° corte). Os outros dois foram realizados em períodos úmidos (novembro e dezembro) e em áreas com a variedade RB85 5113 (4° corte) e RB72 454 (3° corte), respectivamente. Nas parcelas foram semeadas Brachiaria decumbens, B. plantaginea, Euphorbia heterophylla, Bidens pilosa, Digitaria spp., Ipomoea nil, Panicum maximum, I. grandifolia, Commelina benghalensis e I. quamoclit em áreas centrais de 0,5 m². Foi pesado o equivalente a zero, 7,5 e 15 t/ha de palha e colocada uniformemente nas respectivas parcelas. No período seco, os tratamentos constituíram de aplicação em pré-emergência com isoxaflutole (135 e 150 g/ha de i.a.) e isoxaflutole + metribuzin (75 + 1680 g/ha de i.a.) sobre zero, 7,5 e 15 t/ha de palha, e metribuzin (1920 g/ha de i.a.) sob estas quantidades, sendo que permaneceram por 58 e 27 dias de ausência de chuva após a aplicação do 1º e 2º experimento, respectivamente. The herbicides metribuzin and isoxaflutole are used for weed control in the sugarcane crop. In areas of sugarcane harvested mechanically and without burning, the effectiveness of the association of these herbicides to the harvest residue it is still little known. Therefore, it was evaluated the effectiveness of the application isolated or in mixture of metribuzin and isoxaflutole, in the control of weeds established in the sugarcane harvest residue, as well as, the intoxication of the products in the sugarcane varieties. Four experiments in the field had been installed in different periods of the year and climatic conditions. Two of these was installed in dry period (August and September) and in the sugarcane variety SP81-3250 (third cut) area. The others two was installed in humid period (November and December) and in the sugarcane variety RB85 5113 (forth cut) and RB72 454 (third cut) area, respectively.
