LDBEN no. 9,394 / 96 discusses the need for Special Education in education systems but does not clearly discuss the implementation of themechanisms for makes efective this process in Higher Education. In view of these new educational processes, we have developed a study to verify how this scenario is seen by a Higher Education teacher of the private network of a certain city in the interior of the state of Sao Paulo, who worked with a visually impaired student in the year 2015, on the History Undergraduate Course. For that, we used a qualitative research approach and, as a methodological procedure, the case study and the semi-structured interview as a data collection instrument, registering positive results in the inclusion process.
